Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1220 on reporting formats for third-country firm branches under MiFID II
The European Commission adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1220 to establish the specific formats for annual reporting by branches of third-country firms under Directive 2014/65/EU. Branches must submit information to competent authorities by 30 April each year using the templates in Annex I, or Annex II if covered by an equivalence decision. Competent authorities are required to report selected data fields from these annexes to ESMA upon request.
