This Regulation repeals Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/451 and establishes new uniform reporting formats, frequencies, and remittance dates for supervisory reporting by institutions to their competent authorities under Regulation (EU) No 575/2013. It specifies monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting cycles for various data, including own funds, own funds requirements, securitisation exposures, sovereign exposures, and financial information, with provisions for adjusting dates to accounting year-ends. The regulation sets out entry and exit criteria for reporting based on thresholds for small and non-complex institutions, large institutions, and other specific financial metrics, such as a 10% threshold for non-domestic exposures or tangible assets in operating leases. A transitional provision allows institutions to report market risk own funds requirements according to the repealed Regulation (EU) 2021/451 until 31 December 2026.
