The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency grants preliminary conditional approval for the charter of Interactive National Trust Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of IBG LLC, to operate as a national trust bank in Greenwich, Connecticut. The Bank is authorized to provide fiduciary custody services for mutual funds and exchange-traded funds, as well as non-fiduciary securities lending services for institutional customers. Approval is subject to conditions including limiting operations to trust company activities, maintaining $5 million in tier 1 capital with 50 percent in Eligible Liquid Assets, and holding 180 days of operating expenses in Eligible Liquid Assets for the first three years. Final approval to commence business requires meeting all pre-opening requirements, including raising at least $10 million in initial paid-in capital, within 18 months of the approval date.
