Provides for the authorization for the provision of book-entry securities services, custody of securities, and issuer agent for certificates, altering the provisions of Article 21 of CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 89, of November 8, 1988.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION makes public that the Collegiate Body, in a session held on this date, based on Articles 8 and 24 of LAW NO. 6,385, of December 7, 1976, and Articles 27, 34, § 2, 41, and 293 of LAW NO. 6,404, of December 15, 1976,

HAS RESOLVED:

Art. 1 - Article 21 of CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 89, of November 8, 1988, shall be effective with the following wording:

"Art. 21. The provisions of this Instruction shall apply, where applicable, to the provision of book-entry debenture services and other securities."

Art. 2 - This Instruction enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Union.
