CVM Instruction 515 (Repealed)

CVM INSTRUCTION NO. 515, OF DECEMBER 29, 2011

Amends provisions of CVM Instruction No. 497, of June 3, 2011.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION - CVM makes public that the Collegiate Board, in a meeting held on December 20, 2011, based on the provisions of Articles 8, item I, and 16, items I and III, of Law No. 6,385, of December 7, 1976, APPROVED the following Instruction:

Art. 1 Article 13 of CVM Instruction No. 497, of June 3, 2011, shall be effective with the following wording:

“Art. 13......
......
§ 2 The provisions of item I do not apply to the activity of distributing shares of investment funds by autonomous agents.

§ 3 In the case of the preceding paragraph, each of the institutions comprising the distribution system that has hired the autonomous agent must adopt the necessary measures to ensure compliance with the provisions of items I and II of Article 17.

§ 4 An investment autonomous agent who maintains a contract with an intermediary through a legal entity in the manner of Article 2 cannot be directly contracted by another intermediary.”(NR)

Art. 2 This Instruction enters into force on the date of its publication.
