Extension of Compliance Date for Disclosure of Order Execution Information

The Securities and Exchange Commission is extending the compliance date for Rule 605 amendments, which require market centers, brokers, and dealers to disclose order execution information, from December 14, 2025, to August 1, 2026. This extension responds to industry requests for additional time to address technical and interpretative issues while allowing participants to align reporting with the beginning of a calendar month. The Commission estimates the delay will result in approximately $7.1 million in aggregate compliance cost savings for reporting entities.
