Final Order — Broker Dealer

The Florida Office of Financial Regulation issued a Final Order against Edward D. Jones & Co., L.P. to resolve allegations that the firm charged unreasonable commissions on small principal equity transactions and failed to reasonably supervise these transactions. Edward Jones agreed to pay $589,389.76 in restitution to affected Florida customers and a $100,000 administrative fine. The firm must also enhance its compliance policies to ensure commissions do not exceed five percent and certify these changes to the regulator.
