Implementation of Revised Pillar 3 Disclosure Requirements – Standard Disclosure Templates and Tables
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority issued standard disclosure templates and tables pursuant to the Banking (Disclosure) Rules to implement revised Pillar 3 requirements for locally incorporated authorized institutions. These templates are mandatory for reporting periods ending on or after 31 March 2017, with specific exceptions for templates CR3, CR8, and CCR5 which have a deferred deadline of 31 December 2017. The Authority provided English versions of the documents via its website and contact details for inquiries while Chinese versions were scheduled for future release.
