Notice of Proposed Order and Request for Comment on Capital Comparability Determination for Nonbank Swap Dealers in France and Germany
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission solicits public comment on an application by industry groups seeking a determination that European Union capital and financial reporting requirements for nonbank swap dealers in France and Germany are comparable to CFTC standards. The Commission is also proposing an order that would allow these entities to satisfy specific CFTC capital and reporting obligations through substituted compliance with EU regulations, subject to defined conditions.
