To introduce amendments to the Instruction “On bank accounts opened in banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, approved by the resolution of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 6 October 2001 No. 25/4 (reg. No. 1080 of 10 November 2001), in accordance with the appendix.
This resolution shall enter into force ten days after its state registration in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Supervision over the implementation of this resolution is assigned to the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank M.Y. Eshmatov.

Amend the preamble after the words “On banks and banking activity” by adding the words: “By Presidential Decree No. UP‑3968 of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 20 February 2008 ‘On additional measures for liberalizing conditions and guaranteeing population deposits in commercial banks’ (Collection of Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2008, No. 8‑9, art. 35)”.
Amend paragraph 14 by adding the following paragraph:
“Resident individuals may open accounts in national currency for demand deposits in authorized banks without specifying in the application, cash receipt order, and deposit book the surname, name, patronymic of the depositor, and also without providing a signature specimen. Such a deposit is issued to the person presenting the deposit book.”
