Proposed information collection contained in a revised form, Suspicious Activity Report by the Securities and Futures Industry

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network solicits public comment on a revised Suspicious Activity Report by the Securities and Futures Industry (SAR-SF) form, FinCEN Form 101, and associated regulations 31 CFR 103.17 and 103.19. The revision removes the email address field, expands the market where traded entry to accept three to five letter codes, deletes the law enforcement contact information section, and relabels parts to shorten the form by one page. Broker-dealers, futures commission merchants, and introducing brokers in commodities are the affected entities required to report suspicious transactions involving at least $5,000.
