National macroprudential authorities must implement risk monitoring frameworks for residential and commercial real estate sectors using specified lending standards indicators such as loan-to-value and debt-to-income ratios. These authorities are required to monitor developments at least annually for residential markets and quarterly for commercial physical market indicators, following granular reporting templates. The European Supervisory Authorities are recommended to publish aggregated exposure data to national commercial real estate markets annually, while the Commission is urged to propose legislation for a common minimum framework for commercial real estate data.
