The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia amends Article 7 of the Internal Regulation for operations through the SUCRE system, mandating that all import and export payments routed through the Central Clearing House (CCC) must be conducted exclusively in Bolivianos. This change requires private and public sector entities to debit their accounts in Bolivianos for imports and receive export proceeds in Bolivianos, eliminating the previous option to use US dollars. The modification takes effect immediately upon issuance.
