The Securities Commission of The Bahamas directs licensees and registrants to comply with amendments to the UNSC ISIL and Al-Qaida Sanctions List enacted on 8 July 2026. Entities must report any positive matches to the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Office of the Attorney General within 24 hours of the notice's issuance. Failure to submit required reports constitutes an offence punishable by a fine not exceeding $250,000.00, with potential disciplinary action including a minimum fine of $200.00 per day.
