Temporary Rule Regarding Principal Trades With Certain Advisory Clients

The Securities and Exchange Commission corrects the DATES section of a prior Federal Register document to extend the expiration date of 17 CFR 275.206(3)–3T to December 31, 2010. This temporary rule provides an alternative means for investment advisers registered as broker-dealers to meet Section 206(3) of the Investment Advisers Act when acting in a principal capacity with certain advisory clients. The amendments are effective December 30, 2009, and the rule expires on December 31, 2010.
