Adoption of Updated EDGAR Filer Manual
The Securities and Exchange Commission adopted amendments to Volume II of the EDGAR Filer Manual and Rule 301 of Regulation S-T to align with the December 2021 system upgrade. These changes implement new submission types for security-based swap dealer compliance reports, Inline XBRL tagging requirements for business development companies and closed-end funds, and updated taxonomy support for Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act disclosures. The updated manual and related rules became effective on January 5, 2022, to coordinate with the EDGAR Release 21.4 deployment.
