Amendments to the Timing Requirements for Filing Reports on Form N-Port
The Securities and Exchange Commission adopted an interim final rule modifying the filing deadlines for monthly portfolio reports on Form N-PORT to reduce cybersecurity risks associated with sensitive non-public data. The rule requires funds to file reports for each month in a fiscal quarter no later than 60 days after the quarter's end, while mandating that funds maintain the required information in their records no later than 30 days after each month. These amendments preserve the public availability of quarter-end reports and do not alter the amount or timing of information made available to the public.
