The Division of Market Oversight extends the expiration of no-action relief provided in CFTC Letter No. 13-41 until the earlier of January 16, 2015, or the date the reporting party no longer holds a reasonable belief regarding privacy law consequences. This extension applies to Reporting Counterparties and Reporting Entities with obligations under Parts 20, 45, and 46 regarding transactions where reporting identifying information is prohibited in Enumerated Jurisdictions. Relief is limited to jurisdictions where formal responses from non-U.S. regulators were previously obtained and remains subject to the back loading conditions of the original letter.
