Credit Risk Retention-Notice of Commencement of Review
The OCC, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, FDIC, SEC, FHFA, and HUD have jointly issued a notice commencing a review of specific Credit Risk Retention Regulations. The agencies will evaluate the definition of qualified residential mortgage, the community-focused residential mortgage exemption, and the exemption for qualifying three-to-four unit residential mortgage loans. Public comments regarding these provisions must be submitted by February 3, 2020.
