Delegation of Authority to the Director of the Division of Market Regulation

The Securities and Exchange Commission amends Rule 30-3 by adding paragraphs (a)(69) and (a)(70) to delegate authority to the Director of the Division of Market Regulation to grant or deny conditional or unconditional exemptions from Rules 11Ac1-5 and 11Ac1-6. This delegation allows Division staff to handle exemption requests for market centers and broker-dealers regarding execution quality disclosure requirements, rather than requiring direct Commission action. The amendments become effective on February 26, 2001.
