FINRA Adopts Amendments to Extend the Trade Reporting Facilities Operating Hours
FINRA has amended Rules 6380A and 6380B to extend Trade Reporting Facilities operating hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time each business day. Transactions executed between 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. must be reported within ten seconds, while those executed between midnight and 4:00 a.m. must be reported by 4:15 a.m. with a unique trade report modifier. These amendments become effective on March 30, 2026.
