Form PF; Reporting Requirements for All Filers and Large Hedge Fund Advisers; Extension of Compliance Date
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission jointly extend the compliance date for the 2024 amendments to Form PF from March 12, 2025, to June 12, 2025. This adjustment addresses administrative and technological burdens on private fund advisers by preventing the need to submit 2024 data on both the current and final versions of the reporting form. The extension ensures that almost all 2024 filings are submitted on the current form, thereby enhancing the Commissions' ability to aggregate and analyze data for systemic risk monitoring and investor protection.
