Incorporation of Changes in the Commission’s Administrative Structure, Remove Superfluous Verbiage, and Correct Inaccurate Text
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission issued a final rule to align its regulations with an internal reorganization that created a new Division of Data, renamed the Division of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight to the Market Participants Division, and realigned other offices. The amendments update references to these new structures, correct typographical errors, and standardize address citations across multiple Code of Federal Regulations parts. These technical and administrative changes are effective immediately upon publication on September 4, 2024.
