Inflation Adjustments and Other Technical Amendments Under Titles I and III of the Jobs Act
The Securities and Exchange Commission adopted technical amendments to conform rules and forms to the JOBS Act and implemented required inflation adjustments for emerging growth company revenue thresholds and Regulation Crowdfunding dollar amounts. These changes allow emerging growth companies to present reduced financial data, defer certain accounting standards, and utilize scaled executive compensation disclosures while exempting them from specific auditor attestation requirements. The Commission also updated Regulation Crowdfunding to adjust investment and transaction limits in accordance with the Consumer Price Index.
