IOEAMA UNSCR Ref SC16155 ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida 22 August 2025
The Securities Commission of The Bahamas directs licensees and registrants to report any positive matches against the updated United Nations ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List within 24 hours of this notice. Reports must be submitted to the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Office of the Attorney General, with confirmation sent to the Commission. Failure to submit these reports constitutes an offence punishable by a fine not exceeding $250,000.00, and non-compliance may result in disciplinary action including a minimum fine of $200.00 per day.
