IOEAMA UNSCR Ref SC16197 ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida 21 October 2025
The Securities Commission of The Bahamas directs licensees and registrants to report positive matches against the updated UN Security Council sanctions list for ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaida within 24 hours of this notice. Reports must be submitted to the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Office of the Attorney General, with confirmation sent to the Commission. Failure to submit required reports constitutes an offence punishable by a fine not exceeding $250,000.00, and non-compliance may result in disciplinary action including a minimum fine of $200.00 per day.
