The Securities and Exchange Commission adopted temporary final rules to provide relief from federal securities filing requirements for entities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The rules temporarily waive the notarization requirement for Form ID applications to EDGAR access and extend filing deadlines for specified reports under Regulation Crowdfunding and Regulation A. Issuers relying on this relief must disclose their reliance on their public website or to investors and submit the required reports within 45 days of the original deadline.
