The CENTRAL BANK OF BRAZIL, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595 of December 31, 1964, makes public that the MONETARY COUNCIL, in a session held on December 19, 1996, considering the provisions of Article 67, paragraph 2, of Law No. 9,069 of June 29, 1995,
RESOLVES:
Article 1. Amend Article 3 of Resolution No. 2,303 of July 25, 1996, which shall henceforth read as follows:
"Article 3. Multiple banks with commercial, investment and/or credit, financing and investment portfolios, commercial banks, savings banks, investment banks, and credit, financing and investment societies must submit to the Central Bank of Brazil, in the manner determined by it, a list of the tariffed services and their respective current values.
Paragraph 1. Changes to the values of tariffed services must be communicated whenever they occur, observing a minimum period of 10 (ten) business days before their effectiveness.
Paragraph 2. The information must be sent via conventional correspondence, until a specific transaction of the Central Bank Information System - SISBACEN is made available.
Paragraph 3. Failure to comply with the provisions of this article will subject the institution to the payment of a fine as provided in Resolution No. 2,194 of August 31, 1995."
Article 2. This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
