Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1301 amending STS notification requirements for on-balance-sheet synthetic securitisations
The European Commission amends Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/1226 to specify the information originators must submit to ESMA for STS notifications regarding on-balance-sheet synthetic securitisations. The regulation introduces Annex IV, which defines reporting fields such as STSSY1 through STSSY34, covering general details like LEIs and specific criteria including credit protection agreements and underlying exposures. It also updates Annexes I, II, and III to clarify reporting for traditional securitisations and allows references to prospectuses or underlying documentation. This regulation entered into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal on 26 July 2022.
