Extension of Filing Accommodation for Static Pool Information in Filings With Respect to Asset-Backed Securities

The Securities and Exchange Commission amends Rule 312 of Regulation S-T to extend the temporary filing accommodation for static pool information in asset-backed securities filings until June 30, 2012. This extension allows issuers to post required static pool data on an Internet website under existing conditions, rather than filing it electronically on EDGAR, provided the information is deemed included in the prospectus. The amendment becomes effective on December 31, 2010, to prevent a gap in the accommodation that was previously set to expire on that date.
