Registration for Index-Linked Annuities and Registered Market Value Adjustment Annuities; Amendments To Form N-4
The Securities and Exchange Commission adopted final rules requiring the registration of index-linked annuities and registered market value adjustment annuities on Form N-4. These amendments implement the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 by tailoring disclosure requirements to these products and extending existing variable annuity filing and antifraud guidelines to them. The rule also updates Form N-4 for all issuers, permits summary prospectuses for these annuities, and makes technical corrections to Forms N-3 and N-6.
