Swap Execution Facility Requirements

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission adopted final rules to amend regulations governing Swap Execution Facilities regarding package transactions and error trade resolutions. These changes allow flexible execution methods for certain package transactions and establish a principles-based approach for correcting operational or clerical errors. The rules, which replace prior no-action relief, became effective on February 16, 2021.
