Updating EDGAR Filing Requirements
The Securities and Exchange Commission proposes rule amendments to mandate the electronic filing of most documents currently permitted as optional electronic submissions under Regulation S-T. The proposal requires the electronic submission in PDF format of glossy annual reports to security holders and mandates the use of Inline XBRL for financial statements on Form 11-K. Additionally, the amendments require electronic filing of exchange listing certifications and allow for the electronic submission of certain foreign language documents in PDF format.
