Electronic Submission of Applications for Orders Under the Advisers Act and the Investment Company Act, Confidential Treatment Requests for Filings on Form 13F, and Form ADV-NR; Amendments to Form 13F
The Securities and Exchange Commission proposes amendments to require the electronic submission of applications for orders under the Advisers Act and Investment Company Act, as well as confidential treatment requests for Form 13F filings, via the EDGAR system. The Commission also proposes to mandate the electronic filing of Form ADV-NR through the IARD system and to update Form 13F instructions regarding confidential treatment requests in light of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision. Additionally, the proposal re-introduces amendments to Form 13F requiring managers to provide additional identifying information and modernizing the structure of data reporting.
